Dal 2003 cominci\u00f2 a delinearsi la prospettiva dell\u2019iniziativa di solidariet\u00e0 a favore di Muruamaya, una piccola comunit\u00e0 sperduta sull\u2019immenso altipiano boliviano, iniziativa conclusasi nel 2008. EquaMente, insieme alla Cooperativa Sociale I.So.La., sono state vicine a queste realt\u00e0 in tutto questo periodo, con le loro iniziative di sensibilizzazione, hanno contribuito significativamente a concretizzare la realizzazione di diversi e numerosi obiettivi inclusi nel progetto. Fino a questo momento con i contributi che sono pervenuti all\u2019associazione gli interventi si sono estesi a ben sette Comunit\u00e0: Muruamaya, Sangramaya, Villa Arridendo, Canaviri, Chacoma, Pan de Azucar, Callisaya.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Con la partecipazione attiva dei\u00a0<\/span>comunarios<\/i><\/span>, dalle scelte collettive alla manodopera, locali sono state edificate 7 scuolette per la scuola primaria in ogni comunit\u00e0 citata, si \u00e8 realizzato l\u2019ampliamento della scuola professionale rurale per adolescenti e adulti (\u201cCentro CEALEC\u201d di Muruamaya) e la costruzione di tre Laboratori professionali a Chacoma sul modello del Centro di Muruamaya. Scuola e lavoro hanno visto fiorire tre microimprese gestite dalle donne (una trentina) che si occupano della lavorazione della lana di alpaca, realizzando delle\u00a0<\/span>mantillas<\/i><\/span>\u00a0e dei copriletto tessuti con lana naturale o tinta, secondo le tradizioni ancestrali, con vegetali dell\u2019altipiano. Inoltre si producono confezioni sartoriali: grembiuli, tute da lavoro,\u00a0<\/span>polleras\u00a0<\/i><\/span>(gonne tradizionali) per la distribuzione locale.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Un altro gruppo di donne e uomini hanno appreso la lavorazione dei latticini (yogurt e formaggi) che vendono nei mercati delle citt\u00e0 pi\u00f9 vicine (Viacha, El Alto e in qualche caso perfino a La Paz). L\u2019idea di produrre vegetali in serre ha avuto successo, attualmente sono state costruite 10 serre che impiegano ciascuna 10\u00a0<\/span>comunarios<\/i><\/span>\u00a0. Si coltivano verdure (cipolle,aglio, insalata, carote ecc.) e fragole, ma anche piantine per la riforestazione (sono stati prodotti 10.000 cipressi) e, per la prima volta sull\u2019altipiano, sementi certificate.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In una zona dove sgorga naturalmente l\u2019acqua (rara sull\u2019altipiano, notoriamente arido in superficie), grazie all\u2019ingegno ed alla laboriosit\u00e0 di quelle popolazioni, dietro un nostro suggerimento di creare delle pozze per allevare delle trote, sono state ricavate tre pozze comunicanti dove attualmente si allevano trote per il consumo locale.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In alcune zone, come ad esempio a Sangramaya, l\u2019 intervento ha portato alla sensibilizzazione delle Autorit\u00e0 del Comune di Viacha che hanno disposto l\u2019elettrificazione del piccolo nucleo, che ora pu\u00f2 usufruire dell\u2019energia elettrica.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Il consorzio delle Comunit\u00e0 con la nostra segnalazione ha poi ottenuto la creazione a Viacha di un ambulatorio dentistico che eroga un servizio per la prevenzione e le cure dentali di base. Tutte le attivit\u00e0 sono state condotte in collaborazione con FIDAPA<\/a> e con il sostegno della Citt\u00e0 di Torino – Settore Cooperazione Internazionale e Pace<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From 2003 began to take shape the prospect for an initiative of solidarity in favor of Muruamaya, a small community lost on the immense plateau of Bolivia; the initiative ended in 2008 . EquaMente, together with the Cooperative I.So.La., has been close to this community throughout those 5 years, with awareness-raising initiatives which have contributed significantly to finish the construction of numerous different facilities included in the project. Up to this point, with the different contributions received by the association, the initiative expanded to seven rural Communities: Muruamaya , Sangramaya , Villa Arridendo , Canaviri , Chacoma , Pan de Azucar , Callisaya .<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With the active participation of comunarios and with collective choices of intervention supported by collective labor, 7 local small facilities were built – all of them intended for primary school – one per each over mentioned community, realizing the widening of \u00a0rural vocational schools for adolescents and adults (” Center CEALEC ” of Muruamaya ) and the construction of three workshops on the model of the professional training “Chacoma Center” in Muruamaya. Schooling and working together have then produced the opening of three micro-enterprises run by women ( thirty of them) working alpaca wool, mantillas and bedspreads made \u200b\u200bof woven wool with natural or dyed colors, according to ancestral traditions, using plants growing on the plateau. In addition, they produce several more tailored packages: aprons , overalls, polleras ( traditional skirts ) for local distribution .<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Another group of women and men have learned manufacturing dairy products (yogurt and cheese) now soldl in the markets of the closest cities ( Viacha , El Alto and in some cases even in La Paz ) . The idea of \u200b\u200bproducing plants in greenhouses proved to be successful and currently 10 greenhouses were constructed employing each one 10 comunarios . They grow vegetables (onions , garlic , lettuce, carrots , etc. . ) and strawberries, as well as seedlings for reforestation ( 10,000 cypress trees were produced ) and, for the first time on the plateau , certified seeds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In an area where water flows naturally ( rare on the plateau , known to be very dry on its surface) , thanks to the industriousness of the people who followed our advices , you now find three communicating pools where trout are raised for local consumption .<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In some other areas , such as in Sangramaya , the intervention has led to the awareness raising of the authorities of the City of Viacha who realized the electrification of this small village , which can now take advantage of electrical power.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The consortium of the Communities , following our reports, has then got \u00a0a dentist service facility who provides basic prevention and treatment of dental diseases. The whole initaitive was realized in collaboration with FIDAPA<\/a> and City of Torino – Peace and International Cooperation Sector<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
